unwanted elevation lines.

I’m trying to get a clean stucco view between
stories and other walls that may be the same height, or
different heights, but all of the same Complex Profile composition
materials and edges, per C.P. “edge” control.
I always have to cover over the joining
wall lines (in elevation views) with surface fills so that the stucco looks continuous on the layout sheets
Although I don’t mind ,too much, the lines in 3d view that I get, (I don’t do to much rendering), the unwanted lines that show up in the PDF’s if I don’t cover them with fills, is a pain.
I believe I have all the walls and stories touching with
zero space or overlap.
What do others do for this situation?
Or have I missed the obvious?

What is sitting on top of the C.P. wall you show? Does the wall above it have a line at the top of the plate of the wall you show? Could you post a section through the wall not just the profile?

Usually, the only reason for the extra lines are modeling and layer combination errors. Never be sure that something aligns - check it. Automated systems are merciless - if you don't do EXACTLY what should be done, you will not get what you want.

I also have a feeling that the CP definition can have a lot to do with your problem. Post a part of the 3D view, and the elevation - then we could be able to decipher something.

Yes it was only the smallest amount alignment off which created the problem.
