Wall Geometry Method : new Bug found !?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have started a new project with Polygonal walls included.
Every window type inserted displays incorrect (see hotspots) and has an offset from the original location after stretch. This procedure in all other type of walls is normal.

I've tested both on Mac and Windows, AC12 (build 2156 > 2675). The same problem in AC11 as well...

Well spotted!

Yes, it seems a window in a polywall can't be stretched on plan using the hotspots.

Even a window without a reveal behaves the same way. It stays the same width as when it was first placed and only the hotspots move.

Thankfully you still can type the width manually in the windows settings dialog box, and also stretch it in the 3d window, so at least there are workarounds until it gets fixed. Another thing to try is using the eyedropper on a rogue window, then any new ones placed afterwards will be of the right size.

It's still a bug though!

Well thank you for adding the full explanation and various workarounds.
I have been too busy today investigating the problem... always trying to stretch AC to its limits

The same problem I also experienced when using the wall geometry
This is a bug?
