A Bug in "Parking Stall 12"?

Hi,
When mirroring a row of "Parking Stall 12" the text number of stalls do not retain their position and they mirror also. Am I missing a setting? Have been looking for it all over.
I wish GS would make this object a little more real life like.
Thanks,
Joseph

Hi Joseph,

You're welcome!

Here is the last version... I've found a couple of bugs and fixed them.

Thanks for the beta testing.

p.s.: Check the last post for the final version of the attatchment.

Hi Folks,

Ok... I forgot to check the 3d view...

and added a 2d/3d switch for more control.

Here is the final one... (hope) 😉

Looks great and thanks,
Yet this last version now shows a double in conjunction with the GS's Parking Stall library. Can this be remedied?
Thanks,
Joseph

Hi Joseph,

I'm not having these warnings here in my pc...

Try unloading and reloading both objects.

Hope that helps.

Joseph, you can also give Paulo's version a unique name so there is no confict with the AC12 library.

"Parking Stall 12 Paulo" ?

Down the road you will remember where it came from.

It must be an internal code..?!
May be when AC13 is out this error will go out also.
Erika, a better name does not resolve the issue

Joseph,

Sometime ago I changed the object subtype and it solved the problem...

Try this:

Open one object...

Take a look on the screen shot and go to the subtype section...

Change the subtype for another one and save it and close...

Go to de library manager and reload the library...

Finally repeat the same procedure to restore the original subtype.

It seems that this procedure changes the internal code of the object.

But be careful changing subtypes of objects.
I think if you change the subtype of and object, all parameters coming from the previous subtype will be gone, and different parameters coming from the new subtype will appear.
Although the original set of subtype-based parameters will come back if you change the subtype back, their default values may be reset to values coming from the subtype.
This may or may not cause any problems with already placed intances of the object.

Hi Laszlo,

Indeed changing subtypes should be done carefully... as it can produce very unexpected bad results.

I also would recommend to save a copy (with another name) of your object before doing this procedure.

Thanks for the heads up Laszlo...
