straight line for swing door

I need to show existing doors with a straight line for the swing (see image)
What’s the best way of doing this with the standard AC10 library?

uggh -- I've done this, but it requires editing all door objects and a macro or two. Basically, I added an "Show Existing 2D Symbol" parameter and an IF `On` THEN "skip arch and draw line" script. The real fun is updating all doors every time there's a library update.

Dare I say it: Door and Window Builder has the option of either an arc or a line for door swings.

I don't necessarily want all the doors and windows to be identical!

I found being able to change the swing linetype and line style of special doors and windows really useful in AC12. Distinguishing between normal doors and full height opening windows, and existing doors and proposed doors was vital. Now in AC13 I will have to use the old AC12 D&W from the migration library, which don't use any of the new MVO options, completely defeating the whole bloody point.

Grrr.

Hopefully someone will tell me I have got this completely wrong.

Parameters > 2D Representation > Swing Type > Straight. (Curved, by default)

Not accessible in user interface (Internal Doors Settings).

This is for AC 10 (INT).

Since AC 11 and up, Swing Type parameter is accessible in User Interface.
Internal Door Settings > Elevation and Opening > Swing Type.

Not anymore, not in 13. Now its a model view setting globally for all doors. I don't get it!!??

I hate the straight line representation since early architecture school days.
Why would anyone draw a door with a line that does not exist in reality?
It just looks ugly and it's not functional at all.

It's not about pretty sheets; it's about conveying something to the builder or whoever is reading the drawings. If an AC functionality for which people have a good use has been inexplicably removed, a rant is totally justified.
