New Selection Mode in AC13

New selection mode not mentioned in new feature listing.

Click and drag left to right will select what is enclosed in the marquee.
right to left will select what ever the marquee touches.

I know I've seen that somewhere. Yes they have finally caught up with AutoCAD and SketchUp on this one. It will probably take me some time to get used to it. I'm only just getting the hang of it in SketchUp. (I've never done enough production work in AutoCAD for it to matter.)

I do this without problems all the time in Autocad and I cannot get used to it in AC.

It is such a hidden feature, they haven't even got it in the reference manual! (It should be mentioned on page 307)

It sort of works in the 3d window too, although I wish I could select windows and door using this method. It currently only classes the host wall as a complete element, but not the individual openings.

Thinking about it, it would make sense if you could select doors & windows on plan using this method also. I feel a wish coming on!
