I read IFC 2x3 Reference Guide for ArchiCAD 13 which said that "An element's GUID in ArchiCAD is not the same as its GUID in IFC". But I used Solibri model viewer show that the GUID is same in ArchiCAD and IFC, does the Reference wrong? Do you have experience about this?

ArchiCAD GUID and IFC GUID are different. ArchiCAD writes both GUIDs to IFC. But for some reason ArchiCAD GUIDs of spaces are not in IFC.

ArchiCAD GUID example:
FDBBED34-C946-437B-B5-3F-EC6FA75058FA

IFC GUID example:
3zk_qqoKP3UxK$x6_dK5Zw

In Info view of Solibri Model Viewer the both GUIDs are shown:

GUID 3zk_qqoKP3UxK$x6_dK5Zw
BATID FDBBED34-C946-437B-B5-3F-EC6FA75058FA

BATID comes from BIM Authoring Tool Id.
