BIM Forum in Philadelphia.

We just finished up the AGC BIM Forum in Philadelphia and I have to say I was delighted by both the quality and enthusiasm of the speakers and participants, and the significant presence of ArchiCAD.

Monte from Graphisoft did a great job of showing off Teamwork 2 in 15 minutes and there were notable presentations from both ArchiCAD and Vico users (I know Vico supports Revit now but the case studies are ArchiCAD). Lots of attendees had good things to say about ArchiCAD (including Revit users) and there was much talk of open standards and platform neutral BIM requirements.

All in all an excellent show. Anyone who is interested should seriously consider attending the January meeting in Phoenix. The cost is low and the quality (at least this time) is very high.

I will be happy to elaborate if anyone is interested, but it's late and I have an early flight so It's time for bed.
