Turning Teamwork file into solo project

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi.
I did a save as to save a temawork file back to a solo project and when it is opened it still asks for a user name and password.

And the file is huge, it went from being 19KB to (in 12)
364,194 KB

Why is the file so big and does it have to be? I assume it has something to do with embedded libraries?
And why is it asking for a username and password when it is a solo project?

Maybe you saved a PLA and included all library parts in it.
That will put the whole Library, including Texture and all, into the file.
Plus you may not have used Compression which can again bloat up the file size.

I checked, I didn't save it as an archive.
What is compression and how do I do it?

It's in the 'Save-as' dialog box. Click on the options button above the save button. It's turned on by default, so unless you deliberately turned it off, it should still be set.

Also, maybe you have placed some bitmaps in Viewpoints (like a large scan of the Site) or on Layout and they are high resolution bitmaps, which can also bloat up the file size.
