Basic drafting question

I am learning ArchiCad and somehow I shut off the preview line that appears as you start to draw a line or draw "fence". I don't see anything until after the line is finished. What did I do?

Thank you.

Restart Archicad and it should go back to normal (for a while).
It has been mentioned before and seems to be a video card driver issue.
Do you have the latest drivers for your card.

Well, I know there is a way to turn the "ghost line" on or off as I did it accidentally three weeks ago. I just can't remember where I finally found the settings box to check. I learned my lesson, next time I'm writing it down!

The ghost line is in the Work Environment (More Options - in version 10 anyway, similar in other versions).

This will only effect bounding box of objects, coulmns, figures and drawings.
It has nothing to do with the stretchy rubber-band lines as you stretch or being able to see the marquee as you place it.
That is a video card / driver problem.

Barry,

You were right, re-booting fixed it. The setting was never changed as I had suspected. Thanks.
