Trimming zones with beams?

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hallo everyone,
I need to calculate the average height of an attic space by dividing the total room volume by the area. However, the local council requires the height to be calculated from the top of the slab to the bottom of the roof beams (instead of the roof slab).

Is there a way I can use beams to trim a zone, like I would do with a roof slab?

Thanks!

You can Trim a Zone by Roofs, Slabs and Beams.
Select the Zone and any elements you want to trim it with and use the Design\Trim Zone menu command.
