Wall tags - partition types - tagging in plan

rob2218

well, I know I did this before but for the life of me I can't seem to locate how best to "tag a partition" in Archicad.
see example. "red" squares with line is what I need accomplish in Archicad 12.
thanks.
If I recall, there seemed to be some setting within the wall settings but when I look, I only see something called "label" and that doesn't bring up the proper variables to adjust.
please help.
thanks.

Select the wall(s)
check "Lable Elements"
select the label that appeared and change it to 'Wall Label ' instead of 'Text' of what ever the default is
set parameters to rectilinear.....

I click the "label wall" and check the box but nothing seems to happen? I can't believe it's this complicated. I thought I had it licked once before....

Hi Rob,
After checking to label the wall, deselect the walls. Activate the label tool, and then select the labels attached to the wall.
Open the settings box of the label tool.

Note.
1. There is no wall label in AC12 library so you must load the 11 migration library.

2. Check the Use symbol arrow. This will turn off the arrow of the Wall Label. If you don't, there will be an arrow floating around and you will have difficulty adjusting the Wall Label.

This should make it clear, but ask again if not

thanks...now, why wouldn't there be an AC12 wall tag?

Just guessing, but they probably hadn't time to update for 12.
And we are still loading the 11 one for use in 13; lets hope 14 has one.
