3D-pdf printing from ArchiCAD?

A couple of years ago there's been a thread about printing 3D pdfs:
http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=19894

Is it possible yet?
I'd like to be able to send a 3D model to a client who doesn't use computers much. So the 3D documet should open up without downloading and installing new programs.

This has been available since back then.
Just follow the instructions as posted.
Be sure to turn off non-essential layers as the resultin file gets very big and slow.
I wouldn't say it is much good for anything but the most basic of models.

Ah, sorry. I forgot to mention that I'm using a Mac – can't find that "embed 3d content" button.

3d PDF file size is massive.. i usually do it as a " VR object " that i can open and rotate in quick time..

does anyone know how to get the 3d PDFs smaller in size.. when i try to pan around it dosnt move.. just freezes up trying to think about it.

Hi Mud Shark,

AFAIK there is no easy or cheap way to do it on Mac. If you want to send files to client that dont have Archicad you may consider using VBE.
