Trussmaker End Node

Not applicable
Hi, I'm using AC12 on a Mac, and have created below trusses using trussmaker. The end node seems to have an odd shape:

1) can this be fixed somehow? I don't have the shape in my base line diagram
2) am I doing something wrong?
3) would trussmaker be the correct 'tool' to use for creating such a geometry?

Thanks for your feedback.

I can't reproduce what you show; could you post a screenshot of the linework you use to create the truss?

Hi Erika,

attached the jpg. I hope you can make something out of it.

Kind regards,

with the screenshot this time. Actually the middle orange line was NOT included in the selection for the truss by me.

Kind regards,

Try making the end lines of the truss diagram the same as the horizontal chords. Either that or tweak the end diagonals so that they intersect the horizontal chord just a bit away from the corner.

That is what I did, I made the end verticals the same line as the top and bottom chord lines so they cleaned up.
