how can i avoid this overlapping text on the section label ?

In Story Settings deselect the levels you do not want to show on right hand side of dialogue (this applies to AC11, might have moved in later versions)

The brand new object Elevation Dimension available at www.masterscript.nl can do just that.

It replaces the built-in story marker you are using, but has the same (and more) functionality. Once placed you select each marker and offset it.
