properties in GDL

Could anyone tell me, how is itt possible to get the property (description&component) information in a GDL scrit?

The problem is: I've got an object with an associated propert object.
I would like to use the the property object's descriptions in the main object's script.
How to do that?

There is a REQUEST, "ASSOCEL_PROPERTIES", which seems to do this. I haven't tried it. GDL Reference Guide, page 239. Good luck.

Yes, I've tried it already, but it comes back with all zeroes.

Maybe I'm not using it the right way, though I've tested it in every script in various objects without any success
