Escape Key not working

My Escape key has stopped working. This only happens in Acad 11, not in Acad 10.

Can it be reactivated under 'Preferences' somewhere?

Thanks for the suggestion, Ben.

Escape key function mysteriously reappeared for a day, and then disappeared again today!

I tried assigning it to a shortcut key - but this is one of the few places it worked - exiting the shortcut key dialogue!

Since this never happens to me in Release 10, isn't it a fair bet it's a bug?
