more than that: attribute manager ought to be able to import attributes from a template file!!!

all the more reason for a combined, single file-format ala professors lohden's big wish.

I belive that this is quiet a large issue, or has it just been over looked! I don't normally like to stick my chin out regarding programming, as I'm no programmer my self, therefore know very little about it, but if you can take a pln file and simply change the .pln extention to .tpl to get ArchiCAD to read it as a template, how hard can it be to put the .tpl into the Attribute Manager list?

BTW, if you have an existing *.tpl file and want to load it into Attribute Manager, simply change the tpl extension to pln then you will be able to load it in Attribute Manager. Please note that this is a work around.

Cheers.

yeah - i know. but not to be able to read attributes from a template file without any [censored] around is quite frankly embarrassing!
