Cavity Closer in Composite Wall

I've been trying to get a 'prefabricated' cavity closer to sit in the right location in a composite wall, without success. It insists on overlapping the sheathing of the inner leaf instead of remaining within the cavity.

In trying to rectify this, it occurs to me that I don't know how Archicad is supposed to 'know' where the cavity is in a composite wall?

I've wondered about that as well!

We use often use SIPs panels with a stone outer skin. We like to show the SIPs with its two outer skins of OSB on plan, but as you point out, if we try to introduce a cavity closer, ArchiCAD doesn't really understand and displays it incorrectly. (RH side in blue). Normally we end up drawing them manually (LH side in orange).

I haven't checked to see if this is any different in AC14 yet.

So do we! Seems a shame when the ability to have them generated automatically is so nearly there.
