Hi I noticed while navigating in orbit that I can select an object by right clicking on one of it's nodes, but it also brings the context menu which is nice if for example you want to delete the selected object or isolate or execute any of the available commands.. But if you want to change focus by selecting another object in your view there is no need for the context menu to appear.
Right now while in orbit double clicking does not do anything. So why not just select the object of focus with this action? It will give navigation with orbit a nice flow.
I also think that it so simple to implement that can be implemented right away in the next release.
Just assign double click to select object/element while the cursor is at orbit mode.
