Working on photo or scan file as background

Wonder when you can only get hardcopy, does ArchiCAD have any feature for importing photo or scan files to work as background?

Yes it does, but I advise you to take a quick look at the manual, you will be surprised how much you can do!

Sorry, forgot to tell you that my manual is v.13, but it should not be so different. Look for dragging and dropping pictures,dwg etc.

You can place images in any viewpoint with the Figure Tool or the Drawing Tool if that is what you want.
If you want to use a photo as a background in a photorendering then the image file must be in one of your libraries loaded with the project. Then in the PhotoRendering Settings Dialog you can select that image as a background.
