Elevations with material color atributes

Is there a way to produce elevations with material color attributes?
I know it is possible to make a 3D frontal rendering:copy the fills from the 3D window and paste them on the elevation window...but, is there another easiest way around?

i assume you mean you just want solid colour fills on the elevations

go to options>materials

for each material you're using change the '3d hatching' to 'solid fill' with a pen the colour you want

in the settings dialogue for the section line switch on 'vectorial 3d hatching' under model effects (make sure 'use one pen for all elements' is switched off)

Thank you for the useful tip Bill Shorter!

It is a pity one can not have "uniform pen color for all elements" except for material color definitions. That would produce more consistent elevations.
